Implementation Support

Profile Summary:

Implementation of major improvement initiatives is demanding on both executives and line level management. However, it’s not the strength of improvements that will determine success or failure, but the success of the implementation. Even the best solutions poorly implemented can weaken an organization, while average solutions properly implemented can make an organization stronger.

Approach:

Understanding that many improvement initiatives can take several months to take hold, many owners and executives choose to use Charted Path to provide project oversight or direct engagement to help ensure improvements stay on schedule.

  • Project Oversight: A combination of managing to predetermined milestones and coaching managers through obstacles they may encounter during implementation. Depending on the size of the project along with the frequency of milestones, oversight meetings may occur on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Oversight meetings not only ensure the projects stay on track, but they also provide an opportunity to review metrics and to determine if completed projects have had their desired effects.

  • Direct Engagement: Involves directly managing the implementation of solutions. While the implementation of the solutions requires executive sponsorship, the creation and implementation of the solution will be driven by Charted Path. Direct Engagement is especially helpful when there is a spike of initiatives challenging management bandwidth or to help bridge the gap between the experience of the team and a complex implementation.

Deliverables:

Implementation Support is based on specific deliverables that are defined by executive management. Common types of deliverables include compensation plans, sales and recruiting process enhancement, account planning methodologies, and tool upgrades.
